My emachine laptop will only go to a screen that says, " Setup is starting services," What could be the problem?

Can not move forward on laptop because of the "setup is starting services screen

If the hard drive is healthy, you may have to perform Factory Recovery (Alt + F10 at boot time) so I hope you kept your files backed up.

Just turn the laptop on, as soon as you do.

Keep tapping the F8 key on the laptops keyboard.

You will be presented with a windows OS booting mode option.
Select: Last good known configuration.
