My Ethernet isn’t working

I have a Ethernet adapter thing I plug into the router to the wall- then another to my wall to my PC. I recently moved my room around so I plugged it into a different wall. But now it won’t connect me to the internet. It says “Ethernet doesn’t have a valid IP configuration“ I’ve tried everything from uninstalling it, updating drivers, rebooting PC, doing some ipconfig stuff in cmd, rebooting the router, unplugging stuff and plugging it back in. I’m really frustrated as it was just working 30 minutes ago before I rearranged furniture.

Did you make sure the socket is wired correctly?

Each wall jack in the room must be plugged into the router/switch. Ethernet is point to point so every jack will have its own cable.
