Im so jealous of the prices in america, especially with the weak dollar. 40bucks for 2gigs equates to about 20pounds, 30ish euros, crazy 😱

This is the rig i will hopefully set up within January. First rig i'll be putting together from scratch, but Ive messed around with the insides of computers for ages, could you tell me if you see any problems (i hope there arent, after all the research i did lol, but it doesnt help to verify).

As i live in france now (hailing from the uk), ill be hoping to buy in france and finding a seller that is well priced is hard! Rue montgallet is where ill head I guess, but if you have any sellers, help me out there pls :) I did all my research and pricing using UK/US sellers 🙁... NewEgg is amazing, and i used Dabs from the UK.

PowerSupply
CoolerMaster 650W EXTREME POWER PSU @£49.35 but not sure! Don't know what the bargain deal is. I will hook up 3HDDs and 2DVD drives, so around 700Ws maybe?
I dont want to spend too much on a power supply, suggest one if you would be so kind

And the other peripherals I'll get along the way.

Thanks for your help and comments, I'll be back online after sleeping to reply

P.S. I have a 550W Antec TruePower, will that be powerful enough to run this set-up?

Not quite right. It's $25 for 2x1gb after rebate. 😀 The reason ram prices fluctuates is *cough* supply & demand *cough*.

UK customers seem to like:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/

If you overclock, go with Crucial, owned by Micron who makes the best overclocking memory chips.

While the CM690 is cheap, so is the material. Antec cases are quality. We have rebates for Antec 900. It costs about the same as regular CM690 price after rebate.

425w 28a is all the pc needs. The more the merrier. If you can get a deal on that psu, go for it. Or Earthwatts/Corsair.
