I plugged in the molex cabe into the PSU. and i pluged in the PMW cable into the system fan 2 on the motherboard. There was another extension cable of some sort that was an internal connector but i dont think i needed that. The fans do not spin. I even went into the bios. The system fan 2 was set at 60%. Even after putting it at 100% and saving the changes. Nothing happens. The cpu cooler fans work. And the gpu fans spin at boot up but then stop afterwards. But im not worried about the GPU because the highest temperature it has been is 53C and i think the fans spin at 60C for the GPU. Why does this happen. Is this normal.

Can you please describe how the fans are connected to the FAN HUB? It'd help us if you could shoot us a picture of the extension cable you've seem to have discovered. Is the GTX1060 you own a 3Gb or a 6GB version? Any overclocks on your system to speak of? I'd have suggested getting a 650W unit instead since you're going to need the headroom especially if you want to overclock and have it for a while.

The GPU fans will only operate if they need to. If the GPU isn't warm enough then the fans will not spin up. That doesn't mean you don't keep your eye on them since a faulty fan on the GPU can result in very high temps and GPU malfunction.
