Here is my final build, about to order parts tomorrow.

(Update courtesy of Supahos)

I know PC Partpicker says there is no compatibility issues, however I wanted some of you guys who are not just a computer program to take a final look at things. Is there anything I should change? Or maybe if the cooler fans won't fit in the case or the GPU doesn't go with the motherboard. Just minor things that maybe PC PartPicker would not pick up on. It is my first time building so I want to tie up all loose ends. I really appreciate you guys!!! :)

Board that will actually let you overclock. Faster memory for cheaper, better GPU for $10, better quality power supply for cheaper.

Solution
The H7 is a good tower cooler with great compatibility with ram clearance but it is only a 3 heatpipe model so it's not the best if you're hunting for the highest overclocks. The 480 is an odd pick, I don't think it's powerful enough for the build. The old adage is to put 1/4-1/3 of your budget towards graphics.

Do you plan on overclocking? You've got a K series CPU and an H series Mobo. It's also a 170 series, so you may need a BIOS update to use a Kaby Lake chip. That may require a CPU to be installed to do so. Ie, you'd have to find a Skylake chip to boot with and update the BIOS before you can install the 7700K. You've also got a 1440p monitor with an RX 480 4GB, which can certainly run it, but not with high settings in demanding games.

I do not plan on overclocking so it will not be an issue, and somebody just linked to a page saying I won't be needing a BIOs update (thankfully) and I plan on getting the RX 480 8GB instead which will perform better right?

Don't really plan to overclock, and could you name the faster memory, better GPU and power supply? Thanks a ton!

Oh I see now, thanks!

That link was to an H270 mobo, you've got an H170 mobo listed. I think he was making a suggestion for an alternate board to avoid BIOS updating. The 8 GB model will handle higher resolutions better, but you're still going to be limited to medium or lower settings to reach 60fps @1440p in a number of games. Here's the benchmarks from Tom's review, but it's 7 months old now and driver optimizations have improved performance a bit since then:

Yeah I noticed that too just a second ago, thankfully Supahos provided an updated build with a more compatible motherboard and the 8GB GPU, and when it comes to 1440p gaming I think I'll just pick my battles. If games are well suited for my GPU at 1440p I'll play on it, if not I don't really mind dropping down to 1080p and plus I don't plan on graphics intensive games anyway.

Is this for gaming, video editing or what?

The 7770k is overkill CPU for a 480.
If this is for gaming then money will be better spent on an i5 + 1070
If this is for editing or other applicaitons then you likely want to go NVIDIA becaus the applications can use the CUDA cores and offload some work to the GPU.

I really want that FreeSync for my monitor tho...any GPU upgrades that won't break the bank too much?

I think a Fury is close to a 1070 in price but far behind in efficiency. Do the build you originally had planned and get a feel for it. PCs can develop personalities just like cars.

So a RX 480 8GB, and next year if i can muster some more money upgrade the GPU? I mean even if i did keep it i don't think i'd run into too many problems right?

Please disreguard the above. In a game that is VERY well coded for crossfire (there might be 20-30 in existence) and DX 12 the CF 480s win by 5-10 fps) in the games that are poorly coded for cf probably 50-60% of games, the 1080 wins by 15-25 fps) in the other 35+% of games (including most new games) crossfire has zero support will perform no better than one 480 and loses by 50 fps
