My first build + Cable issues!

Hey guys, finally built my first pc myself 😀

Anyway, I've started working on cable management, and I can't seem to figure out how to hide this cable here.

In the pic, it's the glaring cable right in the middle. I believe it's the 8 pin atx for the cpu??

I couldn't find a place to hide this cable, and it isn't long enough to go around the mb from the back. Should I use an extension? If so any web that ships internationally? Thx.

You can just buy an 8-pin Extension cable such as this one from NCIX, it is 45cm or 17 inches. http://www.ncix.ca/products/?sku=62209 Just add the item to your cart and click International Checkout on the left hand side.

Your PSU is upsidedown. There should be a grate for a fan on the bottom of the case under the PSU. Flip it over and you will have more length of cable. this will give you the length you need for the 8-pin.

Oh wow, thanks a lot for pointing that out. At first I thought it would be kinda weird to have the fan pointing down.

There should be a grate in the bottom of the case so it can get air from the ground. You want cold air from the ground being pulled in, not hot air from the case. That's how they are designed.

I dont know if you have this in your case, but you could try to route it through the top left hole and plug it into the motherboard. If it wont reach (like mine) buy the extention like slotter suggested and then you should have it behind your motherboard tray and out of the way! Good luck.

Seconded the psu pointing down thing too.

Just flipped my psu to the right side now.

Yea, there's a hole on the top left, but it won't reach like you mention, missing a couple of inches. I'll just get the extension cable then.
