Hello, i try to build my own budget PC and i need some help and advices.

Here we go:

Approximate Purchase Date: Next month

Budget Range: 400-500 € (500-650 $) including taxes, shipping, etc.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Surfing, Movies, etc.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website for Parts: Only from http://www.ebay.de

Location: Germany

Parts Preferences: AMD/Intel CPU, Nvidia GPU and i want only SSD for storage (60-100 GB are enough)

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1366 x 768

Additional Comments: I just want a normal gaming PC, I don't usually play games on mega-ultra quality, if the game looks good at medium-high quality i just play it so, i also play sometimes MMO's (e.g. AION, GW2, WOW, etc.). I don't need peripherals.

I've done some research in the last week and i think this build would suit my needs, feel free to replace/suggest me better/cheaper parts.

For that kind of budget I think I would dump that whole build. The 550TI is not a good GPU anymore, and that case is junk. I would also scrap the SSD in favor of a 500GB mechanical HD.

I'd try this:

Case: Antec One - 52,00 €
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX500 V2 - 53,99 €
Motherboard: Asrock 970 Extreme 4 - 85,04 €
CPU: 3.4GHz AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition - 86,51 €
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ares PC 12800 1600MHz 1.5V - 47,19 €
HD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB - 59,00 €
Optical: LiteOn iHAS124-04 schwarz SATA - 19,01 €
Video Card: XFX DD Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition - 109,65 €

Total: 512,39 €

That will be a far better use for that budget - better case, better PSU, better motherboard, way better video card.

Thanks for your reply.

The build is nice but the case is a bit too expensive and isn't 8GB of RAM and 500W PSU too much, i'm just asking. :)

I wait for more recommendations.

Yes but you don't want to trust your new components to a case that will fall apart easily.

8GB is all you need for RAM. The 500W PSU is the minimum requirement from manufacturers for any decent GPU.

Hi, I would wait until December 15 to make a build. Next month prices would have changed a lot and most of the time, you would get something cheaper with each passing month.

At least can anyone tell me if the following build is good enough for me and the parts are compatible with each other. Thank you!

SSD: Samsung 64gb 830 series
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX500 V2
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB Kit 1600 CL9
GPU: XFX AMD HD 7770, DD Edition, 1024MB DDR5
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 AM3+

All costs around 490€ including case, optical drive, mouse and keyboard.

Stop bumping your thread.

Yes it's compatible as far as I can tell.

Look into XFX 500 and 550W PSUs, they'll be better quality than the CX series you're using.

What case do you have? Look at the HAF 912 - a cheap case (around $50 in the US) that is very solidly build with lots of room and great cooling.
