My first build how does this hold up for BF3?

I've already purchased these parts. How, in your opinion, does it hold up for BF3? Note: My plan is to run BF3 in 1920X1080 with max details.

It will do ok, but you need two in crossfire and a SSD instead of a spinner.

No, one 6950 will be fine for one monitor, and a SSD would have been nice but not really needed for more FPS.

You should go for a 1gb 6950 over the 2gb and get a better PSU

Is there that big of a difference between 650W and 700W? From what I understand the brand is very reliable.

i agree with a better psu, but if you can avoid it try to keep the 2gb card

antec 650 is fine. A large percentage here overestimate power usage needed by a factor of 2

Just keep everything the way it is, its a fine computer, it will run BF3 on high settings with at least 60FPS+

650w is enough to power 2x 6950 with headroom (no OC).

Sorry guys I'm a total noob at this. Is the 650W not enough? I've read VERY good reviews on the antec earthwatts. I really doubt I'd try x-fire (again, I'm a noob) since the single 6950 seems like it'd be enough for the majority of games for a long time (once again I'm only planning on playing BF3). I would be interested in overclocking, however.

Yes, 650w is adequate for the 6950 and some overclocking, this system should last you a while
