Ok, My budget is $1000, and i plan to play a fair amount of games, and a little CAD editing for school. I also plan to OC eventually. So here's what i have so far.

Will you need an OS?
What about a CPU Cooler to overclock?
Is your plan to SLI in the future? If not, maybe you don't need a 750W PSU.
People on newegg seem to like your motherboard.
Combo looks good, since I guess an i7 provides benefits for CAD work through hyperthreading.

I have an extra copy of win 7.
I plan to OC later on, not right away.
I dont plan on having SLI so what size would you recommend? 650W?

I think you are pretty much at the sweet spot, other than since you are gaming you would do just fine with i5 2500k, which would save you $100 or so.

Having the 750W PSU lets you easily OC CPU & GPU's with 560Ti SLI so I would keep the 750W psu.
