This is my first build and after tons of research this is what I've come up with. I am missing a mobo but I didnt know what would work best with this setup. If you have any changes I should consider please let me know. My budget isn't too fixed but if possible I'd like to keep it around 800. If i will get considerable performance increases for 1000 I might consider that.

My main goal is to have an affordable pc that i can upgrade as I need.

It's always best to specify what country you are in since this is a international site. This is the best you can get for $800ish CA

Nice build but a few things I would change. Firstly I would never use a cx power supply, and I would go down to 8 gb of ram and spend the extra money on your gpu, maybe get a gtx 970 if if the money is enough.

What power supply would you recommend? also what mobo would you pick for this build? Thanks for the help

You should get a cheaper ram because the brand doesn't matter just the speed and cas. You should get a Wd blue 1 tb because it will barely make a difference in performance, the case could be less expensive, get the gtx 960 because it is better and cheaper than the 270x, another thing is the power supply that it can be cheaper and you can get more wattage, finally get an ssd and the HDD then put the os on the ssd so you can boot up the computer faster. If you want me to do a pc part picker list I can

yeah if you could make one that'd be awesome! thanks

I came up with that list and if your willing to spend 1000 just do an sli and add another gpu but it's not really necessary because that should be a very good computer

The 970 is almost twice as powerful as the 960

He said the budget was 800 and I only went on pc part picker plus you didn't add ram and I have a better processor in mine

Thank for pointing out that I forgot the RAM. You cpu may better, but my build is FAR superior in gaming and it would even be close.
