This was my very first build. I had never gotten anything but a premade before now. I am hoping that the build went okay. I got a lot of advice from some friends and from the Tom's community. Hopefully, I did okay. I did my first foray into overclocking today too. I decided to stop at about 4.4ghz. Thank you for any input you can provide. When I went to mount the h80, I had a clearance issue with my side fan, so I had to remove it.

I bought it about 6 months ago for streaming. I guess I didn't really need to include it in the build, but it is in my case.

Looks pretty good. There are some few subtle changes that I would have made.

Would have went with air cooler just for less hassle with about the same cooling performance. Would have downed the PSU to 550W. Changed the monitor to an IPS monitor for the same price. Wouldn't have went with the XT version of the 7870. Changed the keyboard/mouse to a bit cheaper combo. Just personal preferences though. Good job on completing your first build 😀

I do a fair bit of gaming using my tv as a monitor, and it is nice to use from my bed. I can't tell you how satisfying having no wires on my desk is. It came down to the k750 or the g110, but I went with the k750 because I tried a friend's.

After the hassle of putting the h80 in the case, I would probably agree with you. I don't think that cooler would have fit because I don't have low-profile ram.. I just didn't want to go with amd because I had so few friends with them.
