This is my first Build, I built it about 9months ago, And I require a multitasking (I like to open like 20 tabs in chrome) and gaming system, I don't see the point in pointless upgrades that makes no difference to the naked eye, so please help me out with your expertise - Please only knowledgeable people.

CPU Cooler: Intel i5 2500k CPU cooler > Looking to upgrade

RAM: OCZ 4x2 gb (Currently receiving Memory Management error must upgrade) > Corsair Vengeance Pro Series - DDR3 - 8 GB : 2 x 4 GB

I've heard some of the new hubs use AC, so if you have AC then the absolute best would be the Asus PCE-AC68, but it's overpriced. If you just need a/b/g/n this TP Link is good.

For the GPU, something like a 280X would be good. If you buy the cheaper network card, you could put the money towards a better GPU.

I'd wait to upgrade the CPU and motherboard until Skylake, the 2500K is still a great CPU and upgrading to a 4690K won't give you much of a performance increase.

For GPU upgrade, I suggest the 970. It's the best price to performance card currently on the market.

The PSU could use upgrading if you plan to do any overclocking, or just want a better PSU. A Seasonic, XFX, EVGA or Antec would do well.

For a wireless adapter, it depends on your budget and router.

Thanks for your response:

970 is way out of my budget for a GPU, I need a GPU that would run 99% of games with 50+ FPS not something crazy that will give 3144444 FPS like the 970 lol, I mean 660 can run 80% of the games on Xbox One/PS4 smoothly, But I need something that would run them all nice, with say a average budget of £150 more or less.

My router is with BT Home hub, and my budget for the wireless adapter is let's say, £100?

Wouldn't I be better off doing SLi with 660 than buying the 280x? cheaper and pretty much the same FPS will come out of it.

- thanks for the wireless adapters
