I've been running an old computer that's about 6 years old and have replaced the power supply and upgraded the graphics twice. Now it's just completely outdated (with a Pentium D 2.66 GHz Processor) and I've decided to finally build a new computer. This is my first time building a computer, the one I have right now is a HP Pavilion a1606.

What I plan on reusing:

PSU Dynex DX-400WPS 400 Watt ATX PCIe SATA PC Power Supply

HDD WD2000JS Western Digital Caviar SE SATA II Hard Drive WD2000JS

What I want to do with the computer: Play games and simple school work with MS Office. I don't need settings to be any higher than medium really, key is to keep cost below $300-350. I would like to know if what I have so far is all compatible and the best option for the price.

Here is what I have picked out so far:

MOBO ASUS F2A55-M LK PLUS FM2 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Case Rosewill FBM-01 Dual Fans MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case

APU AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD 7660D AD580KWOHJBOX

RAM Kingston HyperX XMP Blu Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model KHX16C9B1RK2/8X

I don't really plan on overclocking and will probably buy a graphics card down the line to hybrid crossfire with the APU. I plan on buying in about a week. All of this right now is about $300 with tax and s&h.

So that gives me a PSU, APU, Case, RAM, HDD, MOBO. I also have a disk drive that will probably work as well, but I don't know it's model nor do I particularly care if it works. I would like to be able to play games like Guild Wars 2, Metro 2033, Crusader Kings II at least on low settings with 20-30+ fps. Would this all work for a cheap computer upgrade? Thanks in advance!
