If I'm not going to overclock, would I need the aftermarket cooler? Also, I'm not looking to spend any more than this and was wondering if I would really be limited in what I'd be able to do with only the i3 and mid to lower level graphics card. If there is some detail here that you think I should have noticed or if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Solution
No, drop the cooler.

The case is pretty low quality. Look at Antec, Corsair, Coolermaster, Fractal Design, NZXT for quality.

Get a 120gb SSd and a 1tb HDD. 250gb will be gone before you know it and you can't even fill up an SSD all the way without damaging it.

I would get an fx-6300 instead of the i3 honestly. In games that use more than 2 cored, there will be no comparison.
