hi there i have decided to build my first computer. i plan on using the machine for light gaming. some online black opps and surfing the web. this is what i have purchessed so far and i would love to hear any sugstions on furfer componants i may need.

Gigabyte GA970a-DS3P Motherboard

2X4Gb corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600Mhz (with plans to buy a identicle kit bringing it up to 16Gb)

Akasa EVO blue cooler

galaxy 3 gaming case. blue

i have a ocz ssd in my current pc that i will use in my new build, also a wireless n card.

what would be the best processor i could get for around £60 i could get for my board. it does not have to be brand new. must have at least 4 cores and be atleast 3Ghz. is a FX or a phenom better?

What else is a must have people. also i have a hd 5450 low end gpu i was wondering if i could crossfire in my new build. if not then im going to need a decent budget gpu

thanks in advance for your help

Solution
+1 for the FX 4300. Good fit for you.

Just bear in mind your motherboard board has 4+1 phase power. It will be fine for a 4300 or even a 6300 with a mild overclock (* near stock voltages).
thanks for the quick reply guys. the 4300 looks good to me. so does the gpu. im going to need a psu, what is the best brand and the minimum watage needed for the job. also the space for the psu in my atx galaxy 3 is quite small

You're only going to be hitting around 200-225w MAX at full draw, which would make the 450w perfect in terms of efficiency, and XFX is top quality, and can't beat this price:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Power Supply: XFX ProSeries 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£35.34 @ Scan.co.uk)
Total: £35.34

Also gives you plenty of overclocking headroom for both CPU and GPU as well.
