I have been recently thinking about building my first PC.

But without a massive extent of knowledge in building one. So going in to it with a bit of fear and nervousness so looking for any bits of advice and helpful tips before starting that anyone would have for me?

My build has a budget of roughly about £500

Solution
Newegg has how to videos on building. Take your time, and read the directions. Now for the build itself, this would work.

Thanks for the reply.

If i could stretch the budget a little bit would there be a quad core CPU you would recommend?

I also already have a windows 10 key to use as well which would save me a fair whack

This would get you into a quad core, for a bit more
