[SOLVED] My first build

Hey guys! I’m new here and I was wondering about my first build. I’m super nervous about building it and the parts I’m getting. I just want to get an opinion on the build(I have pre built computers but there were never really that good. I did research it but I would l like to have more experienced opinions.


AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT- gpu
AMD Ryzen 9 3950X- processor
Meg x570 unify- motherboard
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 3000 32gb(memory)
Samsung 970 evo ssd 2 tb (MZ-V7E2T0BW)- ssd
Phanteks Eclipse P600S(PH-EC600PSTG_AG01)- case
Corsair rm series rm 850 -power supply

it’s gonna be a gaming pc

For just gaming there is no point getting the 3950X over a 3700X. The 3950x is better suited to highly threaded application work and multitasking.

Well the pc is not only just gonna be used for gaming, I use it for school and coding as well

Its up to you but highly likely for those uses a 3700X is more than you need. Nothing wrong with the 3950X but just trying to save you money.
