My first gaming build. Will it work?

I've wanted to build a PC for ages and now finally have time.
Currently am looking at:

Intel Core I5-4460
MSI Z97 Gaming 5
MSI GTX 970
Crucial 8GB DDR3
Corsair CX500

The CPU should be just enough for GTX 970. Now what I have absolutely no experience with are power supplies, is this one any good? If not what would you recommend?
