Hey everyone,

I'm trying to build my first gaming PC with a budget of 1200$ for 1440p gaming, I would like get some help with my list, all suggestions are welcomed.

GPU : Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 7700 XT 12 GB
CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard : MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
RAM : G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
SSD : TEAMGROUP MP44L 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Case : Lian Li LANCOOL 215
PSU : Seasonic B12 80 Plus Bronze 750W

Everything seems fine to me except the PSU and the Case I'm not sure about.
My knowledge is limited to internet research so I'm open to all suggestions.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You might want to parse a PCPartPicker link to your build for the sake of simplicity and please follow the stylization of this thread;
with necessary info, inclusive of your budget, your location and your preferred site for purchase.

As I said before please don't hesitate to comment on the other components as I need as much feedback as possible, I'll be happy to read all your suggestions, my components choices are limited here where I libe but I want to get the best for my budget if possible.
Thanks.

Looks fine to me but maybe if you can wait a few more months until next gen gets released people might start selling computers almost exactly like this second hand for cheaper. (Or better for this same price)

Hey,
I don't trust used PCs, I would rather get a new one with warranty.

The entry-level PSU, while better than most entry-level PSUs, is inappropriate for an RX 7700 XT build. It's not even made by SeaSonic, they outsource it to Helly, and it uses super-cheap capacitors.
Hi,

I have a few but limited choices, these are the ones available to me:
Aerocool LUX 750W 80PLUS Bronze
Corsair RM750e 80PLUS Gold
Seasonic B12 80 Plus Bronze 750W
MSI MAG A750BN PCIE5 80PLUS Bronze 750W
Mars Gaming MPB750M 80Plus Bronze 750W
FSP Hydro K Pro 750W
Corsair CX750 80PLUS Bronze

Maybe the RME one? Only issue it's the most expensive one.

From your list, the RMe is the best choice. The MSI MAG is not bad. I wouldn't take any of the others.

Is there no SeaSonic G12 model available? That's pretty decent at least. Still not great.

I would look at a different SSD. Crucial or Western Digital if a Samsung is too expensive.

The SeaSonic G12 isn't available, for the SSD I have three other choices
TeamGroup MP33 M.2 PCIe NVMe 1TB
TeamGroup T-FORCE CARDEA Z44L M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe 1TB
MSI SPATIUM M450 NVMe M.2 1TB

But the one in my build has the highest read/write speed.

Looks like a great build! If you want to save money you might want to look at a cheaper case that still has fans installed.

If the Ryzen 5 5600 is available they're usually less expensive and run cooler than the 5600X with no noticeable reduction in performance.

If your build is just for gaming then buy the cheapest PCIe 3.0 NVMe drive you can find. There is no benefit to using higher speed drives for game play.

As for the PSU there is a listing called the "PSU Cultist List":

It does not list every PSU but you can take a look at what they recommend. Go with a "C" tier or higher unit if your budget permits and it is available in your market.

Best of luck on your build!

Hey thanks for the answer!

For the case it's either this or some very cheap not known brands that I can't find reviews on.

I want to take the 5600x instead of the 5600 because I'll be keeping the build for some yeard and the little boost might help, but if there is no significant difference I'll consider the 5600.

That's the cheapest SSD Ican find.

According to the tier list the RME is the best option in my case.
