Processor : AMD fx 8350 / i5 3570k
Ram : CORSAIR vengeanance 8 gb 240 pin ddr3 1600
Motherboard :
Harddrive : Western digital caviar blue 7200 rpm 500GB/ Seagate barracuda 1 tb
Graphic card: msi/xfx Radeon 7870 / Gtx 660 2gb
CPU cooler : cooler master hyper 212 plus
Power supply:
Cooler : cooler master HYper tx3 evo cooler
DVD burner : samung sh 224/idds dvd burner
keyboard and: logitech mk120 black usb wired slim desktop/
mice anything wireless at same price range
Monitor : 21.5'' 1920x1080p

i'm a beginner so i'm kinda scared of overclocking i would prefer not to as i don't wanna burn my new pc so is the cooling section good?. A lot of the components are with two options this is because i couldn't decide which one to choose so please help me choosing which one is better and also a couple of more questions what mobo is best and how much power supply is enough considering i might crossfire/sli and add ssd in the future my mobo budget is 80 to 90 dollars. thank you..

Looks pretty good, you don't list the model # of the DRAM so check that, a lot of the Corsair DRAM at 1600 is set for 1.65, be much better off for 1.5 volts, 1.65 doesn't really come into play as far as need until you get up around 2133 sticks, so if looking at 1.65 would suggest dropping to a 1.5 set

Which website are you shopping from....(flipkrt????....Your name tells me you are an Indian...)

Motherboard could be something like Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 for the FX-8350. Affordable, but still robust for overclocking. Or Asrock Z77 Extreme3 for the Core i5-3570K, same reasons.

A 750W quality PSU (from eg. Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, or XFX) would be sufficient for SLI/Crossfire. I'd recommend going with the GTX 660 then, because SLI works better than Crossfire at the moment.

yes i'm an indian. very nice to meet you ayush. i wont be buying from flipkart though i'm only checking the price i'll buy from a retailer near me btw i live in amritsar.. where are you from?

hi sakkura thanks for your input.also i do wanna tell that i'm only going to play on one monitor which is 1920x1080 p by saying in the future i meant like a couple of years later so i'm looking for decent mobo to go with my rig it would be good if it's compatible with sli/crossfire but it's not a big deal if it's not as i can upgrade it
also please update power supply without crossfire/sli thanks..

it's 1.5 thanks for the information though.what about other components can you choose one in each of them!

Get a fx 6300 and invest the extra money on getting a 660ti (I would have recommended gtx 760 but I don't think it will be available in most of the retailers in India...)

BTW why not shop from flipkart.....They have relatively low prices...great service plus you also have cash on delivary..

I'd go w/ the 3570K, OCs better and beats the 8350 hands dowwn at all but video rendering, pair it with an ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 or maybe even up to a 6, but the 4 can handle most anything you throw at it, Graphics cards are about a toss up, maybe a slight edge to the 7870 unless your thinking the 660Ti, Power Supply - lots of good ones, I lean towards SeaSonic, if budget permits might look to a SSD for OS and Apps, also no OS listed, sorry so much...but, you asked 😉

i would have but i don't wanna bottleneck my pc gtx 660 ti is good but at the same price range you can get a 7950 which performs better than it again i'm not a amd fanboy i just checked the benchmarks.. what is your rig can you suggest me a better rig that will be very helpful my budget is around 40k

See in gaming you wont see the difference between an fx 6300 and an i5. (except for skyrim)

I don't think the components you will get the components you mentioned at that price......The build might cost you as much as 50k-60k....

you're right i was just excluding the price of motherboard but yeah i'll probably wait for the gtx 760
is it better than gtx 660 ti as i don't know the benchmarks!
can you suggest a better rig?

The gtx 760 is much better than the 660ti ....its even a bit better than the hd 7950 and costs a bit less...

Here is my recommendation....

CPU Rs 7865

GPU Rs 19795

See I could have given a hd 7950. But it costs around 25k and the performance lead (5-10%) isn't enough to justify the price..

Motherboard Rs 6804

Total: Rs 66533

Now this is a bit more than a budget but is a beast for the price....Plus you have a ssd for fast booting...

If my answer helped you then be sure to select it as the best answer....

do you think 600 watts will be enough for this beast?

Yes the 600W will be perfect unless you want to SLI in future...
BTW you can also wait for the gtx 760...It might drop in a month or two..

i'll wait for the gtx 760 overall a pretty good build thank you for your effort..

If any of the answers really helped you then be sure to pick it as the solution.....The forum members really appreciate it...
