Hello!
I am new to pc gaming and am currently on intel graphics. So i want to get a graphics card, but have no idea what's compatible with my pc.
Here's the specs:
CPU: i5 3330
Chipset: Intel B75 Express?
Memory: 8GB DDR3 1333?
Expansion Slots?
1 * PCI Express x16 (3.0 Ivy Bridge), (2.0 Sandy Bridge)?
3 * PCI Express x1 (2.0)?
Storage: 1TB 7200RPM?
Micro-ATX?
Motherboard is gateway DX4870

Also The only panel that doesn't seem to be used currently is one similar to the one that contains the antennas for the wifi.
So will I need a new case?
I was thinking about getting the r9 390.
Any help is welcome, thank you!

Considering you have a gateway motherboard, am I correct to assume you got your computer as a prebuilt off the shelf system? If it is, then I would worry more about what your PSU is, since prebuilts always comes with low quality power supply that is "just good enough" for the system.

The rest of the computer is fine, but I would invest in an SSD for the Operating system (if you can) and your current 1tb storage for games.

If you want to run a R9 390, I would advise getting a minimum 600w PSU. Check what PSU you have currently and the wattage.

A wifi card typically runs on PCIe 1x slot (short PCie slots) and gpus does not use that slot. GPUs goes in x16 or x8 slot.

Case is definitely not an issue because there is R9 390 Nano which is designed for mricoATX builds. It would fit into any small form factor. Its just a matter of his PSU being able to support the hungry 390 power requirements, and I have a feeling he would need to buy a new psu.

True. I was thinking about motherboard being able to fit a 2-slot GPU, my bad.
