Hello all. Today i have got my first Intel PC. CPU is Intel I7 6700.

Now,I dont know nothing about intels and how they physically react and work. The only thing i know is that they spend less power than AMD and by that i have expected them to be lower temp than AMD. But,as for temperature,I have no changes.

My ex FX 4130 had idle 30-35C and on load 40-50C.
My New I7 6700 has idle 25-35C and on load 45-60C.

Both are in same room with 25-35C on summer. Both have 60-70C R9 380 under them. And both have thermaltake contact 30. And all that is in same case with 1 side open and 2 more case fans.

Are these temperatures ok for i7 6700 with this big heatshik?

Second, less important question is: What temps i may have if it were stock cooler? What are normal temps on that? cause if contact 30 isnt working,i would rather have some small heatsink.

Solution
The Intel Stock cooler is really not very good, you'd be seeing temperatures as high as 90C from it. The Thermaltake Contact 30 isn't a particularly large heatsink (it's about mid-range), but your temperatures are good and I wouldn't be worried about it.

I see no problems with your temps...not bad at all...anything above 75 C would be considered hot...at 80C or above thermal throttling will start to kick in...you can under-volt your CPU but that could cause issues...leave it the way it is

hmm,and do you have an idea about stock cooler temps?

The i7 6700 doesn't throttle at 80c, it throttles at 100c. As long as you're staying under 80 for most typical workloads, you're definitely safe - Intel CPUs don't mind higher temperatures, they're safe and reliable even in excess of 80c.
