Hello. I'm going to build a gaming pc soon and I Really need your help and advices.

I want to play BF3, skyrim, nfs:the run and assassins screed 3 and gta V in the future. (on ultra settings)

I have up to $700 I can use for a pc build.

I already have an un used power supply at home : Corsair 750TX 750 watts : watts http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139021

Case I don't need to spend a lot I just want a high air flow case. I thought of this one maybe : Cooler Master haf 912. www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233 It's Huge and I have some space to do cable managment since the psu i have is non modular.

Dvd player : Don't need a bluray. A normal dvd that can makes the job will be fine.

Memory : G. Skill DDr3 2x4 gb http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314

What do you think ?

Cpu: I'm looking for the Intel i5 core around ($250) www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072& Can't affrod i7

This one seems decent for it's price. Can someone Tell me what is the diffrence between i5 2500 and i5 2500k? I compared both on newegg site but there is just no diffrence but the prices are diffrent.

I also want to know is it better to have an i5 or amd fx cpu ? or a phenom would be better for price/quality

Cpu cooler: I heard that stock fan sucks so maybe I can buy one that can makes the job and not so much expensive.

Motherboard: idk

HDD 320 to 500 gb will make the job

GPU: I prefer Radeon but i'm open for any suggestion. I have a viewsonic monitor 19" at 1280 x 1024. Don't need a new one i'm fine with it.

OS: I already own a copy of win 7 64 bits.

I don't want to overclock and I don't think i need double gpu.
Since i am from Canada, pieces are a bit more expensive than in the usa plus i need to pay for shipping and for customs system
I'm open to any suggestion for all parts.

My goal is to save maximum money while having a decent pc.

Thanks a lot.

Solution
You should look into a i5-2400 or a i3-2120 as they are good enough for gaming. You should put more into a gpu and I suggest a z68 motherboard since it has intel virtu which switches between the integrated graphics and the gpu. Get a 6870 or above incase you decide to upgrade your monitor they are around 150-200 bucks

Check out ncix they have cheaper shipping and price match new egg.ca if you are going to pay with pay pal :)

you don't need 8gb of ram, 4gb is more than enough for gaming, and dont buy "fast" ram because it doesnt make difference in gaming whether you have 1333mhz ram or 2400mhz, difference is 0-1%, i would buy 4gb 1333mhz ram cheapest possible

core i5 2500/2500k is probably one of the best performance/price cpu, if you don't want to oveclock then buy cheaper 2500, 2500k have unlocked multiplier so it can be oveclocked

I also want to know is it better to have an i5 or amd fx cpu ? or a phenom would be better for price/quality
amd cpus suck at gaming, avoid

Cpu cooler: I heard that stock fan sucks so maybe I can buy one that can makes the job and not so much expensive.
you said that you dont want to overclock so don't buy cpu cooler, intel cooler maybe isnt the best but if you dont want to overclock then its more than enough, core i5 2500 isnt producing much heat

Motherboard: idk
I'd recommend cheapest possible p67 motherboard unless you want sli or any other fancy features...

GPU: I prefer Radeon but i'm open for any suggestion. I have a viewsonic monitor 19" at 1280 x 1024. Don't need a new one i'm fine with it.
gtx560ti or gtx570 (probably too expensive)

OP is in Canada - that won't be an option.

The above build looks good but I really hate the 550TI - switch that out and get the Radeon 7850 if your budget allows. If not then get a 6850 - it will be far better than the 550TI.

How about this one ? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102908

Do you think i can run bf3 on ultra setting at a good fps rate with a 19" 1280 x 1024 monitor ?

Maybe I should cut in the cpu and get a better gpu ?

Especially if you don't plan to overclock that wouldn't be a bad idea - you could cut the CPU from the 2500K to the i5-2400 and then upgrade your GPU to a Radeon 7850 or GTX 560TI.

Yes you are correct a quad is better then a dual but for gaming a dual would pull through these games fine although a quad core would be better.

Pm= price match they ask for a source url, price match is located at the bottom of the check out area :3

Mobo:

I'm gonna make an account soon on http://ncix.com/ but is that site canadian and are there shipping fee ?

Great build thanks very much for your time. Here's mine. Same as yours, Only thing I changed is the Memory.

And let's say that ncix is a canadian site. It means there would be no shipping fee ?

Memory : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231427$29.99 Same as your suggestion but it's 4gb instead of 8gb. Do i really need 8gb to get a better performance ?

CPU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115074 I'm gonna give a try on the i5-2400.

Mobo: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157271

case: haf 912 http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=55583

HDD: http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=58402

Burner: http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=69650

GPu: http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=64310&promoid=1211

Ok Forget it about free shipping for ncix site. there are shipping fees but it's still less expensive than newegg.

Example haf912 case on ncix is : $59.98 + $21.03 shipping fees + gst = $81.01 total

haf 912 case on newegg.ca : $64.99 + shipping fees 19.99 + gst $4.25 = $89.23 total

$8 saved :)

I wanted to know if i take the i3-2120 instead of the i5-2400. Do i keep the same mobo as suggested for i5-2400.

And also it's better if i go with i5-2400 to have more fps in bf3m right ?

yea they both work in the motherboard. The i5-2400 will make slight changes to your fps but it will also provided faster load times, as well be better for multi-tasking i for one have lots of programs open while gaming (ex. skype, chrome with lots of tabs and my music)

Edit: Also if you are only getting 4gb get 2x2gb dual channel memory to take advantage of the board features :3

I'd like to know if I use my HDD and my dvd from my actual pc and install them into my new pc instead of buying a new hdd and new burner, will it change the performance of my new pc ?

it depends on if they use sata connections. Although i would still replace the hdd you can always sell your computer after cleaning it.
