my first pc build (are my components compatible)

this is my first ever pc build and I was just wondering if all my components were compatible.
my budget is $1400.

Gpu: GeForce GTX 650 gigabyte oc 2gb

Agreed with other posters, where do you live? Those parts should be substantially cheaper. For $1400 USD, you should be able to get a PC that can destroy pretty much all games.

The only thing left is a case and disc drive (if needed). The OS will cost you about $115 AUD. This build will be able to play Ultra @1080 in most games. There are a few you may have to play with the settings to help with with frames. Your original post just said components. Do you have a mouse, keyboard, and monitor?

sorry about that barto ( copying your message) clicked the wrong button. I don't currently have my mouse and keyboard but I am going to buy the cooler master storm devastator keyboard and mouse gaming combo. I haven't chosen a monitor. what case should I get.

The reason I asked about the peripherals is because I wanted to know if those were included in your $1400 AUD budget. If so, then the parts I selected will have to change to make room for those peripherals. If they are separate, then you're fine.

As for what to go with, again that's up to you. You can find good cheap 1080 monitors. I personally spent more on my monitor because I wanted it to be height adjustable. Mouse and keyboard you're on your own.
