Hello Everyone,
I've been doing some research in order to build my first ever PC, but being a begginer I would like to have some advise and have the system double checked, just to make sure I am doing everything correctly.
My build is the following:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
- Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
- RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
- Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
- Graphics Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card
- Power supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
- Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
- Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Notes:
-This system should cost me around 1028$ (Canadian) after mail-in rebates.
-I want a system that should be able to last me a long time and that could easely be upgreadable.
-I do not plan on overclocking it today, however a few years from now when its starts showing its age I would like to have the option to overclock and keep the sames components and/or make minimal upgrades.
- I allready have a good monitor capable of 1080P as well as a keyboard/mouse/speakers/ etc., so I don't need to include those in the build.
Any comments/criticism/recommendations on this build are welcome! Just bear in mind that I dont want to go much over the value I set up allready and that I live in Canada, so I use canadian dollars 😛
Thank you very much!
