Hi, I'm building my first pc, and I have a few questions before I order everything.

My Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Joeblase/saved/T6JK8d

Question 1: What materials (i.e. thermal paste, shock wristband) other than parts do I need?

Question 2: I'm only 13, please be honest whether you think I can do this myself.

Question 3: Are my parts all compatible.

Question 4: Do I need to buy twist ties for something like that for cable management.

Question 5: What would be the best computer building tutorial I could use on the internet (for before I build).

Here is a better PSU, RAM, and cooler. The M9i is as good as the CM212 but smaller so its easier to work with. Get some Artice Siver 5 incase the first attempt with the cooler doesn't work. Age isn't a big deal and your smaller hands may be better connect parts.

You won't need a shock wristband, I didn't use one for mine. But if you want to be really safe, then I guess it does no harm. It's optional though.

As for thermal paste, the 212 evo I believe comes with thermal paste so that should be fine.

All of your cables should come with the psu and other parts. If you are missing anything then you can just buy them. This tends to be for stuff like y-splitters if you don't have enough fan headers on your motherboard. Otherwise, as long as you have all the main parts you should be good to go.

Building a pc is fairly easy. Just follow the instruction manuals that come with your parts carefully and take your time. If you have any issues, then you can use youtube or forums for help. Good luck :)

1. Buy a #2 magnetic tip Philips head screwdriver for assembly.
Coolers come with paste, and the motherboard should include a couple of sata cables.

2. You are good.

Thoughts:

1. Buy a 2 stick kit of ram so you can operate in dual channel mode. If you ever might want 16gb, buy a 2 x8gb kit up front. Adding ram late rmay be incompatible. and will not be supported.

2. I would buy Samsung 850 evo for the ssd. Slightly better performance and a 5 year warranty.

3. Defer on the hard drive until you need the space or you will be storing large sequential files such as videos.

4. Your cpu is appropriate for a much stronger graphics card. Remember to register your card with evga promptly. That
gives you a lifetime warranty and the option to trade your card in for a stronger one within 90 days. Read the fine print.

Thank you but the RAM I intended to upgrade so after hearing people saying I shouldn't expect to upgrade I'll be getting the 2 x 8 GB version. Thank you for all your help, and I just wanted to let you know that you are appreciated.

I'd recommend a Ryzen 5 1600 over the i5 since it's overall cheaper and more powerful.
