That motherboard may need a BIOS update to work with that cpu, if you don't have a compatible cpu you won't be able to do the update. To ensure compatibility you want a B250, H270 or Z270 motherboard unless you can guarantee the H110 has a later compatible BIOS.

Yeah, avoid Zotac! Personally most of the stuff inside my PC is Gigabyte and it's still serving me well several years after building.

For a graphics card, I'd suggest getting at least an 8GB - 4 will be fine, but it gives you a bit of future proofing. 2GB isn't going to run very many games.

first of all, Zotac is fine imo, it's a well known brand, my friend had Zotac GTX 1070 and it's still fine after a few years [he bought it on highschool, now he's on college]

2nd at least 8 GB VRAM? that depends on the resolution he plays, and the kind of games he plays too, i had 1050ti 4 GB, and because i played on 768p, most of my games never uses above 2 GB.... [it goes above 2 when i play GTAV... but most other games doesn't]
besides, the 8 GB VRAM u mentioned belongs to the mid end and high end components, while OP's build is definitely not a high end one....
