My first PC won't display on monitor

Hello I recently finished building my first ever gaming PC

CPU: Ryzen 3 1300X
Motherboard: Asus PRIME B350-PLUS
GPU: MSI
GTX 1050 Ti GAMING X 4G
RAM: Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400
Power Supply: Cougar
VTX700
Memory: Western Digital - Blue 250GB
Case: Phanteks - Eclipse P300

I've connected everything and everything seems to work all the fans spin and the LEDs are on and etc. It just doesn't display. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Is the GPU plugged in. Are you using CPU graphics or external video card?
Correct cables,
Monitor plugged in?
