My First Proper Overclock...Could use some advice please :D

Hi everyone,

First off a very happy new year to everbody!

ok, Im fairly new to Overclocking, have been reading tutorials for quite a while now and since buying my Rampage II Extreme, felt I should at least try!

Now, I Have overclocked to the best of my ability but I am slightly worried some of my settings/voltages might not be as good as they could be or just silly and would appreciate if people could give their opinions. I also cant get the RAM running at its rated speed...is there a trick to this?

CPU
Core speed:= 4009.3MHz
Multiplier: =x20.0
Bus Speed: =200.5MHz
QPI Link: =3608.4MHz

RAM
NB Freq. =3207.4MHz
DRAM Freq. =801.8MHz
FSB : DRAM =2:8
9,9,9,13,88,1T

GPU
Core: 900MHz (flicking to 240)

Im running:

i7 920@4.09
4gb OCZ PC3 8500 Reaper
XFX 4890 XXX Edition

which brings me onto to one final question:

My GFX card should have a core freq. of 900MHz but it is 'flickering' between that and 240. Is there a reason for this, or should I RMA it.?

bit hard to see if you have silly voltages if you dnt list them

Your GPU is fine, when its in 2D mode it will underclock itself to try and save energy, and when you stress it (E.g playing a game) the core clock will go back to 900mhz.

I'm confused about the RAM....should be 3 x 2GB in the R2E / 920. You didn't list ya voltages so it's hard to comment on whether they are in the realm of what we'd expect.
