Hi All, I was hoping for some help on a PC I’ve built for my sister. I’ve used a Ryzen 5 3600 for the CPU, a Radeon RX Vega 56 GPU and a Gigabyte A320M-S2H AM4 for the Mobo (Other parts are below). It is not posting and I’m not getting anything from the speaker, now the fans are all working and I’ve tested the SSD,GPU, Ram and PSU in my computer and they work, I’ve also tried a GTX 750 TI, GTX 1070 and a Corsair 750w PSU in this computer and still nothing. Now I’ve brought a second hand Ryzen 3 1200 just to make sure it’s not the Bios causing the issue however it still won’t post, though interestingly enough with the Ryzen 3 in the Reset button works and I can turn the PC off by holding the power button both of which I can’t do with the Ryzen 5.
Basically I’m wondering if you lot think it’s the Mobo that’s the issue or if I’ve gotten 2 bad CPUs.

Btw is it normal for Mobos to come without a speaker now?

AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Gigabyte A320M-S2H AM4 mATX
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 Kit
WD Blue 500GB 3D NAND SSD M.2
Corsair CX550M Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
MSI Radeon RX Vega 56 Air Boost 8GB OC
Thermaltake Versa H15 M-atx Gaming Case With Side Window
Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition

Thanks for any help that you guys/gals can offer.

Ryzen 3600 and above are not supported on A320 chip. You will need a new MB. If not X570, you may need old chip to update BIOS on B/X 3/4xx motherboard.
as I said, I purchased a second hand Ryzen 1200 and it still doesn't work. Also the mobos support page states that it supports 3rd generation Ryzen CPUs after a bio update.

Corrected above, I think it is more like a not suggested. Found someone can use 3600 on A320 flawlessly.
What happens when you put in 1200? Lights on? Any signs of life?
Yeah it lights up and the fans spin up just like with the 3600. Although the GPU fans only spin when the 1200 is installed.

Try just 1 ram and in different slots and retry. You did connect 24 pin and 8 pin between motherboard and psu, right?
already tried alternating the ram in each slot and tried ram straight from my PC and yes I connected the 24 and 8 Pin connectors and also tried another PSU for good measure.
