My first self built (gaming) PC, any good?

Hi,

I will be building my own pc soon and I would appreciate it if you guys could tell me if I am doing anything wrong components wize. But without further ado here are my components.

Motherboard: MSI Z87-G43

GPU: Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X

CPU: Intel core i5- 4690

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB

Power Supply: Antec TruePower Classic 750w

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1600-8GB (2x4GB)

Optical drive: Samsung SH-224DB

Case: Cooler Master CM 690 III

Soundcard: ASUS Xonar DX

(Also, I will be getting an SSD that a friend of mine had laying around somewhere for free, I belive it was a Kingston one)

Seems good apart from you might want a z97 motherboard or you'll have to do a BIOS update

So what is the big differance between the z97 and z87 motherboards and should i spend a more (about €10) the get the z97 one (sorry if it was a dumb question, I'm new to all this ^^).

I think you can get the z97 PC Mate from MSI for pretty cheap
