Solution
Unless your motherboard comes preinstalled with latest BIOS, then NO - it won't work, unfortunately. You either need a mobo with 200 series chipset (B250, H270) or a CPU from series 6. Both combinations are guaranteed to work.

But no guarantees on yours, unless the latest BIOS is on the mobo already.

usually you don't buy a H110 with a 7xxx series CPOU even if "bios upgraded it will work" because you need a 6th gen cpu with motherboard to generate the new bios update before you \can use the 7th gen cpu on it.

quick test for you when you get your parts
assemble cpu/mobo/fan/power switch connector(outside case on the motherboard box), monitor to motherboard vga output. then PSu connections to that.
power PC, if it power on and off cycles, your bios on motherboard need upgrading before you can use that 7th gen cpu on it.

if it powers to bios, your good to go.

If you want to save about $50 then I would suggest looking into the Pentium G4560 as it's similar to the i3 (2 cores/4 threads). With the savings you could get a better GPU such as the RX 470.

And yes you would require a BIOS update for that motherboard or a 200 series MB like others have stated.
