Hi everyone, I just got an 'old pc' (2012) from the university and I really wanted to upgrade it.
(for one strange reason I cannot upload the photo i'm very excited so the imgur link is this View: https://imgur.com/RyboryT
)

Straight to the point.

QUESTION 1:

Has an Intel G620. And i brought an i5-3570 (used), the thing is, they hace the same socket, same southbridge BUT, the G620 is Sandy Bridge, and the i5 of 3rd generation is IVY BRIDGE, In the Acer oficial website has an BIOS support for Ivy bridge for my model (so I hope i can works)
The thing is... if I upgrade the Bios (to ivy) the G620 will stop working? In what moment I can change the CPU?

QUESTION 2:

Brought an used RX570, (Im gonna change the power supply to be abble to run it) BUT, how do I know if the motherboard will reconize it?

Sorry about my questions, but literally i'm learning and I think I already sr*** up hehehe

Good day and thank you y'all.

PLUSS DATA:

Motherboard is H61H2-AD
I'm planing to put 2x4gb (dual channel is the maximum that this model can accept)

Update the bios with the g620,when its done just put 3570 in there and you are good to go.Just make sure the new psu is good and that it has enough pci-e power cables.
