Shoot! Meant to make this its own thread, so those not reading the
other could get a look at it. So, here it is:

Pretty good! But, I've learned enough from your examples, James, that
I think I can beat it...(cracks knuckles)

This will be a Heroic Mortal with no Thaumaturgical abilities, as per
the Player's Guide. I'm not bothering with a name, as this is purely a
mental exercise!^^ (His Nature, however, is Bravo; Concept: Mortal
Badass!)

To start with, I sunk Primary Attribute points in an even spread into
Physical Attributes; Secondary goes into Mental, with Wits getting 3
dots; I take the Diminshed Attributes Flaw, sacrificing 3 Primary dots
in Social for 9 Bonus pts; he ain't gonna need to make friends and the
only influencing he'll be doing is with his sword...I also take the
Flaw Callous, sacrificing a point in Compassion (Valor is my highest
Virtue); This gives me 11 Bonus Points from Flaws, but I can only use
10. For now...

22 dots of Abilities points goes to all the martial abilities, with 2
each going to Craft (weapons repair) and Medicine (treat own wounds);
Stealth and Survival both get a dot, while Melee is Favored.

All six Background points go into Experience and Resources; I
immediately blow 8 points to bring both up to 5. Experience 5 gives me
32 more Bonus pts, and allows me to use up to 20 Bonus pts from Flaws.
Since I only need 9 more, I take the Flaws Wanted (he *would* be),
Enemy (pretty much everyone), Dark Fate (badass as he is, I don't
expect him to live long or pleasantly) and Disturbing.

The combination of Bonus pts, Flaw pts and Experience pts allows me to
put most of my combat abilities at 3, Martial Arts & Resistance at 4,
Melee at 5 (+3 Swords), Dexterity to 5, Wits to 4, and Willpower at 8.
I also buy the Merits Heirloom x 2, Pain Tolerance, Ambidextrous,
Legendary Attribute (and raise my Dex to 6) and Mutation: Huge and
Tough, which increases my guy's size by 50%, giving him 2 dots in
Strength and Stamina as well as an extra -0 & -1 HL; and adds 2 more
dots to Strength and one more to Stamina, one more -1 and two -2 HLs,
and lets him soak lethal damage with his entire Stamina, respectively.

So, He's now at Strength 7, Dexterity 6, Stamina 6, with 12 HLs.

Now to flesh out the Heirlooms: One is an Exceptional suit of Perfect
Articulated Plate Armor with no Fatigue or Mobility penalties,
Elementally Empowered with Earth to boost it's Soak from 9/9 to 11/11;
this gives him a Soak of 17L/17B. The other is an Exceptional Great
Sword, Elementally Enchanted with Fire to give it that extra bite,
letting him do at least 16L of damage, without Stunts. His Huge Size
and Ambidextrousness allows him to use both this Great Sword and the
Exceptional Great Axe he commissioned simultanously.

He also uses his great wealth to stock up on Talismans and alchemical
formulae for every possible combat situation, tho he saves his
Six-Demon Potion as his Ace-in-the-Hole. This, btw, would give him a
Willpower of 10, Valor of 5, Str of 8, Dex & Stamina of 7, and Wits of
5 (the otherwise inferior Wind-Fire Potion would also give him an
effective 19 HLs!) while it lasted.

So, that's it. The Mortal So Scary That Malfeas Wouldn't Take Him.
What do you think, sirs?^^

Dex,
wondering if Giant really would be that much better than Huge and
Tough...I still want him to be *somewhat* human...

He gave up on humanity the moment you started twinking.

Heh, guess so. Still, he should be able to actually *wear* his
enhanced armor altho I guess he could use his great sword like a
switchblade..."I'll CUT you, man!"^^

Anything else wrong with him? Can my Heroic Twink beat the Mortal From
Hell?^_~

Hmm...Twinking aside, how do Heroic Mortals stack up against
Adventure's Stalwarts, Daredevils & Mesmerists?

Hey, he can get bigger armor made.

I don't think so. He's not bad, but the Mortal From Hell has a
hellacious parry pool, which is why he was using a hook sword in the off
hand. Get yourself a better parry, and he can take the Mortal From Hell.

I never got Adventure!. That is, I never bought it.
