So my wife is divorcing me and we have two kids. Her laptop has a webcam, so it suddenly occurs to me that I should get one too. I just checked at newegg.com and came up with these as starters. Any thoughts? I've never used one so I'm not at all sure even what statistics to compare between models.

Thanks.

Since you have the budget, get the best of the lot.

Its awesome with its abilities and looks good too. If you need something a bit more portable/subtle then surely go for one of the Logitech units. My pick would be this -

i like the c910, but it seems to have some build issues and i'm worried about it working on my 30" monitor after reading some of the reviews.

I also like the life cam, but it seems to have too many issues with its autofocus.

I'm leaning toward the pro9000.
