My Floppy has flopped

This might sound kinkie but my floppy has Flopped. Every disk I put in my 1.44 drive says not formatted. I know my disk are formatted. Even when I try to add data it tells me the disk is not formatted. This sounds like a floppy failure does it to you. Bruce
