My folder disaapeared from desktop

Hello,
My folder disappeared from my desktop, it containd word documents 97-2003 versions and last document was created on 07/12/11. when i tried to search it, it shows ashortcut and tells me that it no longer exits. It is not in Recylcle Bin. Please help.

Try use some data recovery program to recover the folder. You may accidentally delete it.
