My fortnite is locked and I can’t change it, please help!!

When I load up epic games launcher everything works fine and the resolution is perfect but when I click on ‘launch’ fortnite the game loads up as a thin slither of a screen, I have tried numerous methods including changing the resolution of the game and even uninstalling and reinstalling. If you could help me it would be much appreciated. Thank you

Download GeekUninstaller https://geekuninstaller.com/download
as free portable.
After that run program as admin, find epic launcher, uninstall it, and after uninstallation click finish/clean not cancel , to clear out the registry files and etc (This is easier way to reset game).
Do that again with Fortnite game (not sure if epic lancher makes 2 installations when installing game).

And reinstall the game and see if it did work.
Note: Do this way if you have really fast net,
as others I really don't know.
