Question My fps drops when im full screen

Whenever I play a game like fortnite and roblox when I go on ful lscreen my fps drops to like 100+ for both games , but when i make my screen smalelr it goes back to 200+ fps , how do i fix this? please help

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original, new, refurbished, used).

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

Try using Task Manager and Resource Monitor (just one or the other at a time) to observe system performance differences between full screen and "smaller" screen.

My first thought being that the PSU is no longer able to support the power demands of the system and/or GPU.

Key is to prove or eliminate that thought.
