My fps has dropped all of a sudden. I do not know why.

So I was overclocking my laptop with a GTX 1050 and a Intel i7-7700HQ. And after i overclocked it my fans started to make a lot of noise and originally I get about 70-144 fps on fortnite and now i get around 10. If someone could help me that would be amazing

You pbbly pushes the cpu too far. So it started to generate heat that’s not cool able . Temperature continues to rise till it hit thermal limit and started throttling. Try with lower the oc and drop core voltage.

I cannot change the core voltage, power limit, temp limit or fan speed. Only core clock and memory clock.

deal back the settings to stock.

if you could share the temperatures/usage/clocks of your CPU and GPU during gaming (or where the lag happens), that would help.
