Okay, so I had to rma a motherboard because it was powerlooping and wouldn't even go past bios. Here are my specs:
ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5"
Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge
Coolmaster Extreme at 600 watts
HIS HD 5870 Turbo
I had a GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3P LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard and I used to be able to max black ops @ 120 fps and mw2 @ 90 fps (said so on Fraps). Now in mw2 I cant get above 70 and in Black ops I cant get above 60. I looked into my BIOS and each stick is running at 800mhz and I was told you have to double it because its ddr so that means its really running at 1600 mhz my cpu was OC to 4.2ghz for about an hour until I got a blue screen so I put it to default settings. My gpu clock is at 875 and memory clock is at 1225 for my graphics card. I formatted my hard drive and re-installed the OS right after I installed the new motherboard.
