Hey guys..

I'm gaming with one of my friends right now, and every time i look at his monitor, i just see a much more smooth image than mine.. Both screens are 60 Hz.. He has 1 ms response time, and i have 5.. Can that have something to say? I haven't tried it myself, just looked at it.. He has 60 fps looked and i'm running around the 120 - 200 mark, in LoL..

I have an Packard Bell Viseo 230Ws, and he has a Benq RL2455HM

The monitor should have no effect on smoothness, unless it has G-sync, which with that response time, I'm certain it does not.

Response times does reduce motion blur, but motion blur doesn't cause unsmooth game play. It just effects ghosting.

The difference is likely with his PC, settings used, and maybe that particular game favors the GPU he has.

I've got an 3770k and a 670, and he got an 470 i think and an old AMD 6xcore as far as i know.. He is sleeping right now, I'll ask him, when he wakes up..

Both of us have turned V-Sync of, but I unlocked the frames, so i run between 90 and 200, and he locked it to 60 in the settings in LoL
