My friend was playing starwars battlefront 2 and out of nothing , while in a fight his pc closed . After about 5 seconds his PC turned back on , nothing formatted , nothing wrong , he thinks that his PSU might be faulty but he is not sure and that's why I made this threat.
You are right to suspect PSU but it can also be thermal issues.
We need full system specs, along with the make and model of PSU.
Check temps idle and while gaming with hwmonitor and/or msi afterburner.

MOBO: ASRock H310CM-HDV
SDD: 240GB Apacer AS350
HDD: Toshiba HDWD110 1TB

And he will try and see the temps, it's the 1st time he happens to get this
Yeah, that's one of the PSUs that are to be avoided at all costs...
TIER E - POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN MULTIPLE SCENARIOS according to the Tier list .
It's not a real 550W unit either. It's only 408W actually WHEN it can output them and take it with a grain of salt.
Your friend needs to recycle that "disaster waiting to happen" PSU and buy a quality one. It's not meant powering a gaming PC, not even office PCs. From the Tier list I linked, a Tier B and above or a Tier C if he is on a VERY strict budget.
