Windows 7 Pro OEM OS.

If you guys got any hints I been readin threads for thirty days im sure ill catch the info and appreciate it heavily as i will build this weekend.

This will be my second build. What do you guys think. Maybe good for now?

gfx cards:
imo a radeon 7850 2gb or radeon 7870 2gb will be better purchase than 2x 7770.

i would have recommended an intel combo with core i5 2500k/2550k/2600k with asus z68 vpro gen3 or z77 vpro with a cm hyper 212 evo, but it seems like you bought the motherboard already.

overall it looks like a fairly decent amd build.

250.00 vs. 450.00 w/ tax answers that. I was guessing anyways 🙂

+1

Won't somebody think of the drivers!

On a serious note though, besides the graphics card choice, looks like a nice build.

Oh was sticking w/ amd, you have to keep the competition exactly that
,lol, they do good enough for sport i think...and prolly even a few kills for sure

Oh the cards , everybody says are under par, but they seem pretty solid as far as playability overall, and in a year when i really understand overclocking and requip some cash i can hopefully transfer those to my gals build and revert back to one fully operational GPU that can run the gammut thats the scam on that,

Well the build is fine like others have posted with the exception of the GFX cards. But if you are intent on going that path then so be it. Keep in mind that prices could very well drop by the time you build your gf's comp and you could be running a 7850 the whole time w/o xfire driver problems and pick up a 7770 a bit cheaper when nvidia drops their competition in that bracket.

as another sad moment to admit you can get a 2500k and it might be better although i think there plenty of advantages
although it takes more power then a 2500k... so yeah

Unless you frequently use programs that you know to be heavily multithreaded, 8 cores will do you no good.

If gaming is your primary purpose, save yourself $50-90 by going with an fx 4100/4170 or a phenom 975. You'll get better gaming performance out of those CPU's.

Or, if you can manage $210 for a processor, you can go with the suggestions here for a 2500k. that'll give you much better gaming performance than the 8120.

Well, thanks for the input guys, if thats all you can come up with, Its settled. These are really small insecurities, as so far everything you guys have brought up, I beleive, if my memory serves right, I have already been slightly informed on, through these here Tom's forums and others. That these little gripes all have alternate egos and there are users out there who have found exactly opposite and alternate responses in performance(actual) and ability to do what is required when requested. So the data is still out there to disprove all the dislikes, all you have to do is read read read. Intel is cool, Im just sticking w/ amd because when you back a monopoly, you end up with things like government healthcare and no market, And who knows, with todays tech, I just might watch a blue ray while im deconstructing and reconstructing high quality home dvd's, as my cnc is cutting out shapes as I unzip some blue prints and readjust in CAD, oh ya send out some email while I chat in forum all before I launch my computer controlled video equipped outer atmospheric weather balloon, reading a recipe in one window so i can get some dinner done soon and then theres my security system I might want to overlook..... But who would want to do all of this with the help of one machine...idk.....Your right I prolly NEED Intel, cuz I couldn't take care of myself with out someone smart enough to make all the decisions for me....Crazy how a word like MONOPOLY can undermine your ingenuity, poor Bill......Its AMD or Atari for me......

Oh And if I am unhappy with the Radeon I will definately check out the competition...One card first, then two, crossfire or sli, that will be a personal experience decision, but I started w/ radeon, so be it. I am a reasonable man, competition can only improve the market, as only reasonable cogent human beings understand. Appreciate the adaboys guys, ill let you know after I stab it together whether all the purchases worked outta the box, all purchased locally no internet purchases btw
