Question FPS drops in GTA V ?

I have a GT 1030 and while I am playing GTA V it drops to like 25 fps often. I have checked and even factory reset my system but still no use.

Cpu is fine for gta5. Gpu.. not even close to being game worthy of this calibre not even on low settings as you're finding out, especially for gta5 which deserves a bit more respect than this. And don't come back saying you've seen videos of same specs performing great as a lot of people do to try milk other possibilities, it's a lie 😉

Do yourself a favor and upgrade that thing. Can do a lot better ie Rx 580.

Do you have the ddr5 or ddr4 version of the 1030? What resolution and settings level are you trying to run?

GPU is ddr4 : https://amzn.eu/d/hbLYoGYi I am running in 1366x768 resolution with texture quality normal and distance scaling to 0. No matter how much i lower the settings, the lag doesn't stop. It was ok when I bought the GPU but now it's starting to lag

That is completely ludicrous, and nVidia, for a company so righteous on making “choices clearer for gamers,” sure seems to be obscuring this one. The company only wants some cards to be a clear choice. Not all. This does not benefit gamers. -

What resolution? You probably need to lower settings way down. Also, technically 25-30 FPS is considered "playable" if you compare to a console platform. You cannot expect high FPS with this build.
