Question My games keep crashing after a while (It wasn't like this before having a new GPU and PSU)

Hello, recently my computer died and was discovered is because of PSU, so we had replaced it ATX 700w and while were there I asked my mom if she could buy me a better gpu and so we got gt 730. I got home, I was really excited but then my game (NBA2k18) just crashes now as soon as i play (Minecraft takes a while before crashing and sometimes causing to bluescreen), but I could play it before having the new PSU and GPU.

So i asked my mom if we got go back and maybe ask for help or maybe replacement actually for it but the technician found out that it was just the drivers not being updated but I was pretty sure I updated it before and even used DDU in Safemode to completely remove everything unnecessary before installing the new driver, I used some applications to update all the drivers I need and it didn't work so I DDU'd it again in safe mode and just forgot by the time we were gonna go back (Idk why I had to say this part but sorry about my ego).

So the technician did the driver updates himself and after I asked him if maybe he could test if it can play Nba2k18 and it didn't simply said the same thing "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" and he responded that it is because I'm on windows 7 and so I got to my cousin's house and got my OS to Windows 10, lost almost all my files in C;Drive, reinstalled Nba2k18 and Boom it crashes again (btw it only crashes when i start to play but not in the menu)

And so I just played minecraft instead since it can hold for a while but after sometime I just got really tired of crashing and want to fix it so I can enjoy my games

While I was playing Minecraft I was using a Client called "Badlion" and it said when my Minecraft crashed
"Nvidia Graphics Drivers are out of date. Please update them in order to properly use the badlion client

I hope you guys can help me
Things I believe would give help :

PSU : ATX700W
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 730
(Also within the Display Drivers, AMD Radeon(TM) R7 Graphics
Processors: AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G, 3100 Mhz, 2Core(s), 4 ... (Idk why "...)
Installed Physical RAM : 8 GB
Manufacturer : MSI
If you guys need more info about something in my computer, feel free to ask.

Your AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7 integrated graphics is ~37% faster than that GT 730. The GT series is not a gaming card. It's a multimedia card for home theater and light gaming.

You should just return that GPU and keep playing on your integrated graphics.

Sorry about the bad news.

You should just return that GPU and keep playing on your integrated graphics.

Thanks you so much for informing me! (It is indeed working on NBA2k18)
Maybe instead of trying to have better GPU should I focus on acquiring DDR3 16 RAM(Currently have 8RAM) or something else for Gaming ?

GET RID of that PSU immediately!

Notice how the MODEL NUMBER is ATX-700W, but nowhere does it actually say it's a 700W CPU.

That's because it is only, on a bare technicality, a 700W PSU.

3.3V x 28A = 92.4W
12V x 35A = 420W
5V x 36A = 180W

420 + 180 + 92.4 = 692.4, so legit, right?

No. Most power these days is drawn off the 12V rail, and the 3.3 and 5V rails see very little draw. It can only produce 420W on the 12V rail, so it should, for all intents and purposes, be considered a 420W power supply.


The only saving grace from all this is that your PC is not very demanding on the PSU - but that thing is still not what I'd consider to even be safe. Please take a look at the first link in my sig. Even if the PSU isn't causing the crashing, it is not a safe PSU to use.
