Hi, I own a gaming pc and up until recently everything was fine, but yesterday every game i own, with the exception of Hotline Miami, began crashing, basically, about 2 minutes into every game the screen goes black and i have to alt - f4 it so i can go back to my desktop, this takes longer to happen in some games than others, can anybody tell me what is happening?, my drivers are all up to date, and the interior of my pc looks completely intact, no damage, all my componants are recognised by my Pc and they are not overheating, before this began happening i hadn't used my pc in two weeks.

Check your system log file and it will have errors why the system hung. There's too many possibilities to go anywhere with this, without a look at the log file to see what is going on. If you don't know where to find it let us know, we will help you out.

I Haven't overclocked, but I re-installed all my drivers because of the games crashing, and it didn't help

Maybe you havent overclocked but the GPU is OC-ed.Anyway try to turn back your computer on a previous time.

Your gpu is the overclocked version. reduce the clock speed to the amd default speed and see how it works. This will probably fix your problem. The default for most 7870's is 1ghz. If it is more than that reduce it to that. Run the game.
