my games keep freezing, or running badly.

hi,

As the tittle says, my games dont run well, for example my red orchestra lags badly, and the world of warships freezes completely, when I'm playing War Thunder the screen flickers.

I have reinstalled my games and cleaned up my PC with CCleaner, but the issue persists.

pls help

my PC is a HP 500-460la
I have Windows 10 64 bits
Intel Core i7-4790 at 3.60 GHz
12 GBs RAM
i have an Nvidia GeForce GT 720

Your GPU isn' powerful enough for you CPU, high end CPU and an entry level GPU is a no no. Upgrade to a GTX 750 or GTX 750ti.

even though thats a reallllly low end GPU i dont think it would cause freezing or flickering in games. poor performance isnt a surprise though. if you don't have money right now i would suggest totally wiping the hard drive and reinstalling a fresh copy of windows and then immediately install the most recent drivers for all devices. try your games out then.

if you can scavenge around $100 i would suggest getting a 750ti or gtx 950 for ~$150 asap

What settings are you playing at try change them about and see what happens.
