All suggestions and opinions are welcomed. Let me know if you think I should make any changes.

Thanks in advance!

Notes:

This computer will be for hardcore gaming, so I would very much like to run pretty much all games on max settings without issues.

I have not confirmed the monitor I will be getting for sure, but it will be something very close to this:

hmm you choose right components but don't waste money on intel core i7 2600k go for 2500k there is no huge difference between these two cpu's spend money on a good gpu like gtx 580 otherwise system is excellent for gamming.

psu seems a bit big, and there isnt much point in a gtx570, due to the fact the 560 ti is cheaper and only slightly worse, and will be cheap to sli it, the 580 would also be a good upgrade. and the haf 932 might be a bit roomy?

so the 2600k is overkill next to the 2500k, but the 580 is preferable over the 570?

The 580 is no doubt better in terms of performance. But from what ive heard its probably not worth the cost.

SLI 560Ti's cost less, and perform better than a single 580, however this limits your options for future expansion. If you have money to sink, sure get a 580, if you dont, get a 560ti/570 with the intention to SLI later down the line.

Well, I would prefer to keep the cost of the Graphics Card in the 200-300 range since these things require updating so fast. I also wouldn't want to overkill, that would just be a waste of money, and I'd prefer to save that money to upgrade the card in the future.

I honestly don't know if it's worth getting the GTX 580. I mean, if the GTX 560 TI can run pretty much all games with decent FPS on max settings, what would be the point?

I was really considering the GTX 570, but like someone said, I think the performance increase is very minimal. But perhaps there are other benefits?

Are AMD cards worth looking into? It just seems like the GTXs come out slightly on top in benchmark lists compared to Radeon right now, which is why I'm leaning towards Nvidia.

Well... I have decided to go with the GTX 560 Ti. I did change it though from MSI to EVGA because of much better reviews for EVGA and the nice customer service and lifetime warranty.

I know the CPU might be a tad overkill, but I think I'm going to stick with the 2600k.

Apart from that how does the build look? Would adding more RAM be an overkill? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

In terms of gaming, its fairly unlikely.... Look at the i7 vs i5, 2-3 fps difference at the most. Games don't make use of the extra cores or hyper-threading. That's not to say they wont in the future, but at the present time, it makes little noticeable difference, if any at all.

Yeah! Your right there AdrianPerry, your just so right. Some posters just post & don't even think about the price of these graphic cards. Maybe he should just stay with his own gut instincts instead of asking us.

Yeah, I just wanted to some advice though. I was having a hard time choosing the Graphics Card and pondering whether to go with the 2500k or 2600k. But I'm finally going with the 2500k and GTX 570. :)
