Question My gaming monitor keeps disconecting when running a game in fullscreen

I have a gaming laptop but recently i got a gaming monitor that i have plugged in. the monitor is a TUF gaming VG27B and the problem is that when i play a game in full screen or it opens in full screen the hdmi disconects and i get no signal. i have redownloaded every driver. deleted and redownloaded everything but nothing works. please help

What is the make/model of your laptop?

Sounds like a possible heat problem. When gaming, are you also displaying an image on your built-in display?

yes it is but it is not a heat problem because it can happen right after i turn on my pc so when it is coldest. my laptop is a MSI Katana GF76UD
